After cruising for four years on our sailboat through Mexico and the South Pacific we decided to open High Point Farms Bed & Breakfast so we could offer travellers the same warmth and friendliness that we experienced on our trip. And what better island in the Pacific to do it, than beautiful Gabriola!
 
 
 

Raspberry The Berry Farm

We also decided that after spending many years on the water, it was time to get our hands dirty. So we started a raspberry farm. To our great surprise and satisfaction we are now able to enjoy the bountiful rewards of our hard work.

Should you choose to stay at High Point Farms Bed & Breakfast during picking season, (July - September), you too can taste the hand-picked sweetness of our raspberries and strawberries straight from the field to your breakfast table.

Raspberry Homemade Jams

Not only are our berries served fresh to the table, but we also make them into homemade jams. The old fashioned way, from field to jar. High Point Farms Strawberry and Raspberry Jams taste like no other. Every mouthful brings you the sweetness of our berries picked that day after ripening in the glorious Gulf Island sun. Breakfast everyday includes our jams, and if you would like to take some goodness home, we make them available for purchase.
